PS3 & PS4 consoles are region free which means they are compatible with any game from anywhere around the world. WILL GAMES FROM THE UK WORK ON MY PS3 OR PS4 CONSOLE? American consoles use NTSC and the UK use PAL. Consoles are region locked which means American consoles use a different encoding system to the UK. WILL GAMES FROM THE UK WORK ON MY PS1 OR PS2 CONSOLE? ![]() I'd love a talented dev to take the idea of Road Rage and current (or even next gen) consoles and take another stab at open world Springfield.I LIVE IN AMERICA. Such a pity that EA holds the license hostage like Star Wars. Bart Vs the Space Mutants had a cool idea for the first level referencing the series a bit but after that it falls off a cliff (well, more like running off a cliff since the jump and run button was the same one on the NES.), Camp Deadly was a game I played loads on the GB despite it really not being good, Bart Vs the World. Road Rage was also pretty fun for a blatant Crazy Taxi ripoff, though honestly once I'd heard all the dialogue I was sorta done with the game and back playing CT beating my high scores! A few of the mini games are really cool as well, I liked Bartzilla and the Itchy and Scratchy worlds, Bartman was pretty good as well (I can still hear those blimps exploding even now!). Gameplay isn't amazing but its got tons of nods to the series so its basically the inverse of the arcade game in that regard. ![]() ![]() The Simpsons arcade game still rocks, though aside from the aesthetic and a couple of the bosses, I feel it lacks more Simpsons references - not many characters from the show actually turn up (but then again, it was produced right at the beginning when the series was just taking off) but in terms of gameplay this one is perhaps the best of any Simpsons game, I played the Xbox Live port tons back in the day as I tried getting all the achievements with a friend (and enjoyed every minute of it).īarts Nightmare was pretty fun as well. The Mega Moleman X poster still cracks me up though. The gameplay on certain levels was just not something I enjoyed at all, my lasting memory is that it annoyed me more than anything else. I didn't like it nearly as much as others did. It was designed well, decent enough story (with a nice twist on the final level) and enough Simpsons in jokes to keep me playing. The only modern-ish Simpsons game I still like. ![]()
